Local "Summer Camp"
One way to have fun running over the summer is to find new and interesting venues to test drive. So to encourage your exploration, here is a series of suggested destinations for each Thursday this summer.
July 5 - Nevers Park, South Windsor (followed by ice cream at nearby dairy)Anytime - Vernon (Church St) Rails to Trails, and trail along CT River between Wethersfield & Rocky Hill Ferry
Overnight Summer Camps:
Attending a week-long summer camp is an excellent way to build strength and friendships. As an added incentive, the XC Boosters generously provide scholarships. Camp is most fun when you attend with other friends, so consult them and your parents to put together a fun & productive summer running experience! Here is a sampling of summer running camps:
